| China Hopes to Promote Military Exchanges with Cameroon |

China would like to bring the military relations with Cameroon to a new stage, said Guo Boxiong, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of Communist Party of China.
The armed forces of the two countries have achieved notable progress in the cooperation and exchanges in various fields, Guo said. Chinese armed forces cherish the friendship between the two countries and would like to work with Cameroon to bring the bilateral relations to a new stage, he said. On the same day, Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie also met with Mebe Ngo'o. China would like to promote military relations with Cameroon at all levels and in a wider range, Liang said. The two countries have had political equality and mutual trust and worked together closely in various fields, Liang said. The exchanges and cooperation between the two armed forces have been satisfying, he said. Mebe Ngo'o said he believed his visit would advance the understanding and exchanges between the two sides and promote the friendly cooperative relations between the two armies.
